Classification of 3-inch submersible pumps

The classification of 3-inch submersible pumps can be divided according to their purpose, structural characteristics and use environment.

Classification by purpose

Well submersible pump: used to pump water from the well, suitable for farmland irrigation, township water supply and other occasions. This type of submersible pump mostly uses a vertical multi-stage pump, and the motor is usually a wet oil-filled type.

Submersible sewage pump: mainly used to transport industrial wastewater and urban domestic sewage, with strong power and the ability to discharge impurities.

Surface submersible pump: used for water extraction from ditches, ponds, lakes and shallow wells, and also suitable for construction, urban water supply and mine drainage.

Sand discharge submersible pump: suitable for environments containing a lot of sediment, with high head and wear resistance, often used in mines, engineering excavation and other occasions.

Mining vertical pump: can be used as a submersible pump or a vertical pump, which is more flexible to use.

Classification by structural characteristics

Dry submersible pump: the motor uses a mechanical seal or oil seal to keep the machine cavity dry, with a simple structure and high efficiency.

Semi-dry submersible pump: A non-magnetic sealing device is added between the stator and the rotor, and the rotor runs in the water, but the motor performance is poor.

Oil-filled submersible pump: The inner cavity of the motor is filled with insulating oil to prevent water and moisture from entering, but the efficiency is low.

Wet submersible pump: The motor is filled with pure water, with a simple structure, mainly used to prevent sand from entering the machine cavity.
